I am beyond blessed to have such a large family. A family that extends a helping hand whenever I call. A family that seeks to see me. A family that desires to see me reach high for God, and to follow through with what God has placed in my innermost being.
My friends have become my family. My family is the body of Christ.
We are a group that seeks to run home, sit on the back porch, awaken Early in the morning, face to the ground in the evening, yearning just to hear Him breathe. We desperately long to feel His hand touch our back, to see his Face would bring a spring of tears filled with joy. Joy, for finally hearing us calling out to Him in the night, pleading with him in the day. Joy, because we can now release our burdens and hurts because He is now embracing us. He has lifted us up.
In the silence we hear His voice. We hear our Daddy. In the night we beg Him not to leave only to awake and long for His embrace again.
This is my family.
"Indeed if we will listen, a Sacred Romance calls us through our heart every moment of our lives. It whispers to us in the wind, invites us through the laughter of good friends, reaches out to us through the touch of someone we love. We've heard it in our favorite music, sensed it at the birth of our first child, been drawn to it while watching the shimmer of a sunset on the ocean." - The Sacred Romance
My family doesn't question the pain anymore they embrace it.
We no longer seek to live in a fantasy world, but seek to change our reality. We seek to do the impossible, and do the unimaginable. My Dad is a strong leader, and He has taught His children well. We stand with courage and boldness. We move in a sure direction. We are incapable of failure. Failure does not exist. We will conquer the evil in this world, and will rescue the oppressed. We will bring the truth to those who have fallen for a lie. We will bring light and warmth to those trapped in the cold darkness.
My family is an unstoppable force that can not be reckoned with. We will not be shaken we will not be moved. We will not decrease in numbers as some are known for doing. We will grow in numbers over time. We will never decrease but exponential increase. We are exceedingly threatening to those not in the family. We desire others to join this movement. We long to see our family grow.
My Dad continues to teach us even when we're away from home. My Dad knows each of us intimately, and shows no favoritism. The more time I desire to spend with Him the closer we become.
I desire to sit with Him, read with Him, drink coffee with Him, sing with Him, dance with Him, Eat with Him, run with Him, and talk with Him.
The unique thing is, is that He desires the same things.

Job Searching
Last Friday through Easter Sunday I was BLESSED to be invited to go camping with Teysha, Kayla, and Kays parents at Purtis Creek State Park. It was a much needed break from the city and I was beyond blessed. Im sure all were sick of hearing me say that through the weekend, but I couldnt help but remind them all of how blessed we are. When we were driving and the country started to peak its way in Tears filled my eyes. I had been longing to get away from the city and all the lights...the non-stop lights 24-7. When we parted ways I was on my way back to the city, a lone. Tears fell. This is when I started to think about looking for a job in Nacogdoches. At that moment I couldn't tell if my tears were because I realized I really was growing up, or because God intended for me to go back to East Texas. Who knows. Either way, I had a GREAT weekend, and am still maintaining a positive attitude since (3 days strong!).
Monday I went to help out a friend who works for a non-profit organization called "challenge Air" ( http://www.challengeair.com/ ) They send kids with Disabilities up in the air, and the pilot teaches the child how to fly the plane. The pilots offer their time, gasoline, and jet free of charge. This program is in place so kids with disabilities can be motivated and empowered to do anything in life. If they can fly a plane what else are they able to do! It was a long day, but MUCH better than sitting at home and doing nothing. I sent out about 150 postcards and made a spread sheet with details about other companies that have supported Challengeair. Made for an 8 hr work day. It was great to feel like I had a job for a day!
Tuesday I got to hang out with Sweet Heather and enjoyed walking around the mall with her, and smelling sweet scents at Bath and Body Works. Heather Had bought some flowers and we planted them. Heres the front porch:-) We found some pieces of wood in the shad and decided to make some ast/plant stands. The weather has been SO SO NICE!
Today I Faxed an application as a Case Worker to the Burke Center in Lufkin. I am fully qualified for this position, and have great references with Royce, and Dr. Watson. Dr. Watson is the Vice President for LOVE Inc., and Royce is the Director at GODTEL (obviously). Its totally in Gods hands. I would love to be there, but know there are pro's and con's in all things. I don't want this job if it is not what God has for me. Again I hope this is what God has for me, but so far he has protected me from much that I am unaware of. I continue to trust and seek him:-)
